Ex-Pension Boss, Abdulrasheed Maina, Declared Wanted By Interpol

Months after the EFCC declared him wanted, the International Police Organisation (INTERPOL) has issued a world-wide red alert on former chairman of the Pension Reform Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina. According to a report by Daily Trust, the notice was issued based on a request from the EFCC.

The anti-graft agency on November 18th 2015 wrote to the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, seeking his assistance “to issue an INTERPOL Red Alert” on Maina, who had been charged to the Federal High Court on July 10, 2015. Maina is alleged to have been involved in contract scam and stealing of N2 billion while he served as former Chairman of the Pension Reform Task Team.
